About the event

Program Description: This intensive workshop will offer practices and explorations for how to integrate mindfulness into your service work with children and teen clients. You will learn more about the basics of mindfulness practice to bolster your own personal familiarity with mindfulness. Themes such as play, working with emotions, and age-appropriate mindfulness will be covered. This workshop is open to practitioners and students of counseling, education, coaching, psychology, law, business, nursing and any other service-oriented profession. Beginners and seasoned practitioners of mindfulness are encouraged to attend.

Facilitator Bios:

Purviben K. Trivedi-Ziemba, LMFT-IT, graduated from Northcentral University’s master’s program in Marriage and Family Therapy in 2023. She works at Oshkosh Marriage and Family Therapy Center as a therapist. Her work centers around the needs of Black, Indigenous, and People of Color (BIPOC) and the LGBTQIA+ community, kinship and family relationships; seeking to amplify the voices and expressions of Neurodivergent and Disabled…
