About the event
About Our Speaker:
Nicole holds a PhD in Marriage and Family Therapy from Northcentral University, is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, Registered Play Therapist and AAMFT Approved Supervisor. She completed her Master of Science degree in criminal justice from St. Cloud State University and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in social work with a minor in human relations, also from St. Cloud State University. Since the beginning her career, Nicole has worked with children and their families, engaging in play therapy, sand tray therapy and filial therapy, in her private practice. Nicole specializes in high-conflict families and Child-Centered Reunification Therapy, a model she developed and researched, to reunite parents and their children. Outside her clinical work, Nicole is a part-time faculty at National University and an adjunct faculty at Augsburg University. When she is not working, Nicole enjoys spending time with her family, reading, tattooing, creating art, and hanging out with her chickens, dogs and cats.
