About the event
Through intentional breathwork and graceful movement, I invite you to explore a mindful practice that nurtures your body and mind. Immerse yourself in flowing sequences, gentle stretches, and mindful transitions, as we cultivate a profound sense of presence and inner strength. This class is designed for all levels, embracing individual growth and fostering a deep connection with yourself. Unwind, let go, and find solace in this sacred space we create together.
Edna Abney is a holistic healer, somatic guide, licensed psychotherapist, and mindfulness enthusiast. Edna owns a group private practice Mindful Life Services, where she supports her clients from a yogic-integrated lens, while also cultivating the next generation of yoga-informed mental health professionals. When she is not in session with clients or supervising students, Edna is rolling her mat out in the community. She has taught yoga in a variety of spaces including underserved communities, corporate wellness events, public schools and retreats. She is passionate about inviting yogis of all levels to experience the immersive benefits of yoga and cultivating inclusive and non-competitive spaces where everyone feels welcomed and comfortable to be themselves. Edna’s classes are intentionally designed to unify the mind, body, and spirit. She is eager to offer opportunities that allow students to explore their own yoga journeys. Through peaceful movement on the mat, students find an intimate personal practice on and off the mat. Edna’s soft and gentle restorative fusion teaching style will leave you grounded and centered.
